Ruge trotted towards the coast. Her audits flicked listening to the sound of the waves. It was calm and peaceful here compared to her old home. She snorted and walked to the edge to cool her daggers off. She looked up at the sky watching the birds fly over her head. It had been so long since she had been somewhere so peaceful. It seemed like there was no problems between light and darks then again she just got here so she never knew what to expect. She told her father she wanted to leave and she did. He had no control over her. He might have been a dark lord at her old home but she knew that he couldn't keep his daughter from doing what she wanted. This was her life she was going to make what she wanted of it.

Baro galloped up towards the coast, a place where he often found peace for himself. He missed his home herd terribly, but wouldn't give his lifestyle up for anything. Quivering nose caught scent of a female and with a nicker he gave chase towards her, whiscord held high as he raced towards her. As his dark eyes landed on her hulk, he came to a stop and reared, giving her full view of himself. Approaching her, he reached his neck forward, giving her a quizzical look, tendrils falling over his eyes.
"Hello there, good lady." Baro commented, flirting with her almost instantly. "Areyou too looking for a herd to call your own?" He arched his neck and approached her, hoping she liked what she saw.
[ooc] i'll make this pretty, later.

She had been cought up in her own thoughts that she barely noticed the scent of a male in the air. Her nares flared as his smell entered them. Her audits perked up and she pulled her head high. She was the next in line for her fathers herd when she left. So she wasn't going to let anyone think she had no standards when it came to a herd. When he stopped infront of her she let down her head. She reached her head out also. Hello my good sir. A smile formed on her kissers. Yes sir I am. My name is Ruge, and you are?" She asked batting her eyelashes at him.

"Baro, fae." He introduced himself before he bumped his nose against hers in a wishful way, blowing his oxygen out once he had pulled away. He meandered closer to her and flicked his ears back and forth. "What's a lovely thing like you doing in such a desolate place?" The northern coast didn't boast heathly grass or easy to walk on paths; pebbles and small rocks constantly being kicked or flung out from under the hooves of travelling equus.
Baro had been up here mutliple times so he knew the dangers, but he was thinking of the femme, of her hooves and of her general wellbeing. Baro could be considerate like that, only he kept that part of himself locked away tightly, lest he should make a mistake and end up fathering a foal too many.

"It is nice to meet you Baro." She closed her eyes as he bumped noses with her. She breathed in with his scent lingering in her nares. She had to admit he was a hansome stag for what she has seen on her travels. "I am use to the loneliness ive been on my own for two years and it is very peaceful here. Something different for me also. What are you doing here?" She had noticed rocks and other stuff that could easily hurt her. She remembered her old home it was alot like the coast except no ocean. It was right there at a cliff. If one didnt watch it you would fall down to your death. She made sure after watching a friend come to that demise not to get to close to the edge.

"Pleasure is all mine, Ruge." Her calling felt smooth on his tongue and he nickered softly. Of course, as she spoke he gave her all if not more of his attention. Two years on her own? What sort of life was that? "Tsk, such a sweet thing on your own for that long, were bachelor herds a problem for you?" He was referring to her beauty, the light chocolate hue of pelt she had covering her carcass. His ebony tail swished behind him as he addressed his own 'coming of' story.
"Sire and dame asked me to leave the home herd, due to overpopulation." Not really a lie, more of a white lie. "The King didn't like how I was addressing his personal harem." Now, that was more of the truth. Baro flicked his ears again before he snorted. "So, I left and found my calling here, in this lovely land. I have yet to call a herd my own yet, but maybe we can look together?" He looked to her, hopeful.

She nodded to his reply. Maybe she could open up and not keep to herself anymore. She never had problems with bachelors then again she knew how to avoid them she was her fathers favorite. She saw the shock on his face. Like it was a suprise to find that out. "No the bachelor herds weren't much of a problem for me. I know how to avoid them. When you were is a dark herd where your father was dark lord you learn a lot about how to take care of yourself. The reason I left was it was getting to bad there. We had an earthquake where I lost my mother. We lived near a cliff which had a fatal fall to any and my mom took that fall. So I told my father was leaving and never saw him again. Im sorry you got kicked out of your old herd, but I would love to search for a new home with you." She said with a bigger smile. She and him had a little bit in common and she liked that.

Baro watched her carefully, taking her body in with easy dark eyes. Her story was compelling and similiar to his own, except that his herd bordered on the neutral lands and his father had been known to socialize with the lights or darks on either border. Baro's hide trembled as a fly landed there, and with a swift flick of his tail it went flying, allowing the dark hide of the male to remain spotless.
"I'm sorry about your mother, Ruge," He said, lowering his head slightly, and his auds picked back up when she said she'd loved to look for a home with him. "Well, I have yet to properly search these lands, would you like to come with me?" Baro also wanted to see what other filly or femme were around; he had to keep his options open.

She looked at him she had never told anyone that story but she felt like she could trust him. She knew trust was going to be hard to build with her past but knew it would take someone like Baro to build that trust up that she had been keeping away for a long time. She felt that same fly land on her neck and she shook her nape sending it away hopefully for the last time right now. He was hansome she had to admit but she wouldn't say it out loud well atleast at this point and time. "It's ok Baro I've learned to live with her gone. I would love to search with you I could make some more friends." She said meeting his eyes.
